Visitor Journey & Lead Attribution Notice
Last updated: October 28, 2026
When you send us a contact form or a quote request, we link it to the pages you viewed on enzoscleaning.com before sending it. This tells us which pages and articles lead to real inquiries. This notice explains what is recorded, how the link is made, who can see it, and how long it is kept.
When this happens
Only when analytics is allowed for you (see the Cookie & Tracking Notice). In the European Economic Area (including Norway), the United Kingdom and Switzerland that means only after you accept; elsewhere you can switch it off on Your Privacy Choices. If you decline or switch analytics off, nothing below is recorded and your form is not linked to any browsing.
What we record about a visit
- The pages you view (address and page title) and when.
- How you arrived: the referring website or search engine, and campaign tags in the link (for example
utm_source). - Taps on phone numbers and email links, file downloads, links that leave the site, and other link clicks (the link text and destination).
- That you started filling in a form — never what you type until you send it.
- Your IP address and your browser’s identification string (user agent). If your browser sends Global Privacy Control we do not store the IP address.
- A random visitor ID stored in your browser (
enzo_vid). We do not use it to identify you by name unless you send us a form.
Automated traffic (search-engine crawlers and other bots) is filtered out and not recorded.
How a form is linked to your visit
- Browser ID (exact). When you send a form, your browser includes its visitor ID and visit ID. The form is linked to the pages that ID viewed in the 90 days before.
- IP address + browser (probable). If a form arrives without a visitor ID — for example because your browser blocks storage — and you have not declined analytics, we look for recorded visits from the same IP address with the same browser identification string in the 30 minutes before the form. We link them only if exactly one visitor matches. If two or more visitors fit — common on office, school, municipal or public networks where many people share one IP address — nothing is linked. Such links are marked as probable for our staff.
Contact forms and quote requests also store the IP address and browser identification string they were sent from, with the form itself.
Who can see it
- Enzo’s administrators can see each inquiry with the pages viewed before it.
- Our content publishing partner, the company that publishes articles in our Articles section, can see inquiries credited to its articles — an inquiry is credited when the visitor entered the website through one of its articles before sending it (on that visit or an earlier one), whatever page the inquiry was sent from. It sees the date, the type of request, the organization name entered on the form, and the pages viewed. It does not see your name, email address, phone number, message or IP address.
How long it is kept
- Visits that never lead to an inquiry are deleted after 90 days.
- A visitor ID with no activity for 13 months is deleted.
- Visits linked to an inquiry are kept with that inquiry, under the retention terms of our Privacy Policy.
Your choices
Switch analytics off at any time on Your Privacy Choices — this deletes the visitor ID from your browser and stops recording. To ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted, contact us as described in our Privacy Policy.
