Tower Brushes

A tower brush is the vertical half of a fleet wash. It is a full-height rotating brush mounted in the bay that cleans the sides of a vehicle from roofline to rocker in one pass, so nobody is on a ladder with a wand trying to reach the top of a bus. That reach is the entire point: the upper third of a trailer or motorcoach is the part that gets skipped when washing is done by hand, and it is the part everyone sees.

Brushes handle a different problem from pressure alone. Road film — the bonded mix of diesel soot, oil and traffic grime that dulls a white trailer to grey — resists high pressure but comes off readily with detergent and mechanical contact. Touchless systems avoid contact entirely and rely on chemistry, which suits some fleets; a brush trades that for faster removal of bonded film and lower chemical use per vehicle.
